Why Have They Created The Forme Bamford
The first bike we will look at is actually a hybrid bike but it performs exceptionally off-road.
The Bamford was created to continue the Forme tradition of making easy-to-ride junior bikes that also deliver high performance.
Forme’s Bamford range showcases the brand's junior-specific design approach seen in their Kinder bikes.
These new Bamford models ensure that riders of all levels can experience Forme's commitment to quality and performance without compromise
Types of Forme Mountain Bikes
Below we will take a look at the details of three great Forme off-road bikes. First the Forme Bamford, a formidable hybrid bike. Then we have two mountain bikes for teens and adults, the Black Rocks and the Forme Curbar Pro.
Forme frames are made from narrow, lightweight aluminium tubing with a low step-over height. A compact frame ensures the rider can ride with the largest wheel possible for their size. This helps young cyclists to ride over much tougher terrain.
The Bamford 20 is generally suitable for kids between 6 and 9 years old. The recommended minimum inside leg measurement is 53 cm.
The Bamford has a lightweight alloy frame at its centre. This means the bike only weighs 8.96kg, making it one of the lightest in its category.
The bike is powered by Microshift 7-speed rapid-fire gears and a junior-specific crankset. This makes it easy and natural for young riders to quickly shift gears and generate power. Combined with the light frame, kids can have maximum control of the bike, starting and stopping effortlessly.
