Who are Strider?

Strider is an American company focused on building balance bikes. The business was founded in 2007 by Ryan McFarland, when he built a balance bike for his son. 

Strider’s proclaimed mission is to build lightweight all-terrain bikes that develop your little one’s balance, coordination, and confidence.

Why are Strider Bikes so great? 

• Lightweight & Functional – Strider knows the benefit that having a lightweight bike has to not just the child riding it, but also to the parent that has to carry it! This is why they make their tyres from a lightweight EVA foam polymer, and a steel frame which weighs only 2.9kg, making it light enough for the child to handle, yet strong enough to withstand the abuse! ☁️
  
  
• No Need for Tyre Maintenance – As mentioned above, the tyres on the Strider 12 sport are made from a lightweight rubber. Not only does this help to keep the bike light, but they are also designed to make sure you never have to spend time fixing a flat tyre. 🔧 
  
  
• Easily Adjustable – Strider knows that your child is going to grow up in the blink of an eye, and that’s why they made the Strider 12 Sport able to fit any child between the ages of 18 months and 5 years. The seat and handlebars are both adjustable using easy-adjust clamps, meaning you can adjust the bike without having to bring out the toolkit! 🚴🏾‍♀️
  
  
• Child-first – The Strider was 100% built with children in mind, which is why it includes an ergonomically-padded seat and mini-grips handlebars for your child’s comfort, as well as a built-inperformance footrest to help your child rest their little feet whilst learning to balance. 👶🏼
